Medicaid Rehabs & Addiction Treatment Resources In All 50 States With Medicaid Application Links In Every State

A Message Of Hope Brought You Here Seeking Treatment... so Don't leave before the miracle happens

At Recovered On Purpose, we believe that everyone, no matter their financial situation, deserves a chance at recovery and a new beginning. If you’re struggling with addiction and you’re on Medicaid or believe you may be Medicaid-eligible, we want you to know that you are not alone—and there is hope.

Why We Help Those On Medicaid or Who Are Eligible For Medicaid

In 2017, I was homeless, battling addiction, and and felt completely alone in my suffering without anyone to help because I could never get insurance or the money I needed to go to treatment I believed would save my life.

Things have changed since then for the amount of access to care we have, but this site is more than just a place where you can find a treatment center that accepts Medicaid in your home state – this is a community where we help each other rise up from our hurting places and expect those who rise up to help too! Some day soon, you, or the loved one you are searching for, will be on this side of the help and helping someone hurting in addiction find the recovery they so desperately seek.

I know what it’s like to feel trapped, hopeless, and unseen. But I also know what it’s like to find the strength to reach out for help, to begin the fight for my recovery, and to experience the incredible miracle that happens when we no longer want to drink or use like we have our whole lives.

Recovered On Purpose was born out of my own experience and my deep desire to help others who are facing the same struggles I did. Our mission is to ensure that no one is left behind on their path to recovery, and we are committed to providing the resources, support, and guidance you need to take that first step.

Navigating Medicaid Rehabs & Drug Treatment Centers

Below you see a map of the United States with each state being clickable to take you to its respective State Page…

Once on the State Page, you will find all available resources like Medicaid rehabs, inpatient addiction treatment centers, outpatient addiction treatment centers, alcohol treatment centers, intensive outpatient programs (iop), partial hospitalization programs (php), and eve sober living communities that are non-profit.

If you do not have Medicaid yet, each State has a link to apply for Medicaid in that State. We urge you to apply and get Medicaid because many more doors open up to you receiving care and resources when you have it. Most of us on this team have had or have Medicaid and want the best possible resources to be available to you.

No one on this team has affiliation with any treatment centers on this list and we do this for free and for fun to watch people just like you and just like us rise up from the ashes of addiction and come into a community fighting for and helping other in addiction.

We want to help you find a happy, joyous and free life in your recovery as you live Recovered On Purpose in your own life!

Medicaid Resource Guide Volunteers

In 2023, a group of volunteers from all over the United States came together and began working on this resource list together digitally.

They met weekly with both our founder Adam Vibe Gunton and our Director of Resources Heather Fitzsimmons while calling hundreds of numbers in their assigned states to find all the resources that accepted Medicaid, and deleted the ones off the list that were either scams, or not what we were looking for to help people.

This project took nearly the entire year and the group of volunteers went through ups and downs together, experienced life together, and ultimately completed a guide to help people in places we all were at one point or another.

The names of all these volunteers are: Chase Dailey, Christina Whitney, Jessica Maroste, Leah Walls, Leslie Myers, Margo McKee, Olivia Hoffman, Robert Line, Sharon Solis, and Steven Dolan. Thank you so much for the hard work you all did and everyone who ever uses this site has you to thank for making this vision a reality.
